Defoamer Select™ is a water-based, silicone emulsion, antifoam and defoamer that can be used to prevent foam formation or knock down existing foam. Reducing and eliminating the foam during tank mixing, allows the product to be more thoroughly agitated during the mix process and reduces the threat of chemical spills. The factors contributing to the creation of foam include the pesticides being used, the temperature and viscosity of the tank mix components, the amount of agitation required and other conditions. Defoamer Select will help to control this foam by penetrating the walls of the foam bubbles, causing them to collapse.
