Roaches
The most common areas of Roach Infestation are adjacent to kitchens and bathrooms. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) procedures call for a combined knowledge of biological control, habit manipulation modifying cultural practices, observation and when observed then controlling them with proper pest control procedures. Glue Traps are a good monitor and easy way to begin control. Roaches hide in cabinets, appliances, stored clothing, equipment and thriving in areas having poor sanitation with reduced structural integrity. Seal gaps, cracks, or holes where they may hide or enter the home.
Max Force FC Roach Bait Gel, Advion Cockroach Gel Bait or Max Force Impact Roach Gel Bait are highly effective and easy to apply. Baits should be placed in warm moist areas, along pipes, behind appliances, Hot water heater closets and other observed roach pathways. Bait stations like the MaxForce FC Roach Bait Stations are an easy and ready to use option.
Aerosols may be sprayed as flushing agents into cracks and crevices, along baseboards and in house voids. This group includes both contact, residual and dust materials. Products with residual include Phantom PT, CY Kick, CB Invader HPX and CB D - Force. Contact only pesticides include P.I. and 565 Plus XLO and CB-80.
Concentrate pesticides are easily mixed with water to provide quick, effective and residual control. These are products like Demand CS , Suspend SC, Tempo Ultra SC, or Zenprox EC, are for use inside and outside the home. They are easily applied with a Chapin Pro XP Sprayer. These concentrates may even be mixed with Insect Growth Regulators such as Archer IGR or NyGuard IGR. An IGR will assist in the elimination of long term control by halting the reproduction of targeted insects, thus increasing residual.
Another vehicle are the Wetable Soluble Packets and that disolve in water and adhere to surfaces without putting a dust into the air.
